Standard Mixing ratios –

You need 3 bags of masonry cement per cubic.
However depending on what the responsible project engineer or architects notes may suggest, the ratios may change.
Plastering
Plastering pit sand is chiefly used for plastering and splashing. This sand is graded so that it does not contain weeds and also black soil. Depending on the artisan’s expertise, plastering can be done is various innumerable designs. Even when brick work was not done properly, plastering covers up every mistake and leaves the building structure spot less.

However depending on what the responsible project engineer or architects notes may suggest, the ratios may change. Some prefer 1:6 ratios, but the strength of the mortar will then be determined by the quality of masonry cement used.
Pit sand is generally the same, even though people choose to differentiate it by naming it with extension names. However it comes in various colors, including white and gray colors.
